It could be your local city or any city around the world as long as there are businesses inside it. You can use Google Maps to advance and assist these businesses in earning some extra money.
For this example, let’s use Chicago plumbers, specifically plumbers in Chicago. Chicago is where I am from, so it’s the location I will be using in this video. Now, let’s talk about the best businesses that can help you move forward and assist in the example I’m going to use for this video or strategy that I will show you.
The best businesses would be trade businesses such as plumbing, electricians, chiropractic clinics, etc. For this example, we will focus on plumbers in Chicago. So, if you type that inside Google, the first thing that pops up is always the ads followed by Google Maps to know exactly where these businesses are located. After that, you’ll find other essential websites with the top 25 or best 10 plumbers in Chicago. Whatever you do, go back to the top, and there’s a link here. Click on it to get started.
This link will open up Google Maps for you, and you can go ahead and check out all the businesses within that local city. Start by checking out some of these listings on the side. Look for this special link here, suggesting editing. What you’re looking for is a business that hasn’t been claimed by Google. Google doesn’t know if anyone is managing it or even if it’s a legitimate business. That’s why it’s crucial for these businesses to claim their business on Google and verify their accounts.
If you scroll down, you’ll see this listing here for plumbing and heating services in the southern part of Chicago. It says “Suggest an edit” and, after that, “Own this business.” This means that this specific business hasn’t been claimed yet. You can remove or delete this listing from Google. It’s evident that it has led to a decline in business for them. According to an article by Revlocal, Google removes listings that haven’t been verified. So, if you scroll down and see that, it means there’s a chance Google might remove the listing or nobody manages it. Alternatively, if it hasn’t been verified yet, it’s highly recommended by the Google Gold expert inside Google itself. This is google.com; check it out! Encourage them to move forward and check it out if they haven’t already.
You can come to Google Maps and start searching for unclaimed businesses or unverified activities. Just like this one here, if you click on this right link here, check this out, and claim this business here, it goes forward and responds to reviews, updates information, and much more. This will genuinely help their business in ranking higher on Google. They will be able to respond to reviews and, essentially, give a better presentation of themselves. So, click here where it says “Manage now.” Most businesses don’t even know this is possible. Therefore, it’s crucial to approach these companies, claim their businesses on Google, and verify their accounts. Let them know how much you will charge to do this for them. You can easily charge $100 or more to do this for them. If you need any help with it, I’ll be happy to assist you.
Once you’ve gotten everything set up and have helped them claim their business on Google, the next step is to move forward and search for their website. If they don’t have a website, look for a phone number like this. What you’ll do next is contact them directly and say, “Hi, my name is John, and I noticed your business hasn’t been claimed on Google. I wanted to reach out to see if you’re interested in doing that.” Let them know that you can help them verify their business if they haven’t already done so and assure them that you can help if they need to verify their business. This will help them respond to reviews, update information, and claim their business on Google. If they’re interested, you can proceed with the process and charge them a fee for your service. You can charge $100 or more, and they will charge you $20 to do that. You can keep the remaining profit.
So now you have two different options. You can either go ahead and take the course, get certified yourself, and sell your services for the rest of your life. Alternatively, you can come to Fiverr.com, a freelance website where people who have already completed the course and become certified can offer their services. You can find unclaimed businesses here, and what you can do is hire someone to do it for you. All you have to do is search for businesses, reach out to them, and offer your services as a middleman. They will keep the profit, and you can easily charge them $100. This way, you’ll be able to earn some extra money online.
